Neil Gaiman Invites You To Wayward Manor

Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Neil Gaiman is writing a video game title!

Collaborating with the talent of indie game developers, The Odd Gentlemen and Moonshark, writer Neil Gaiman announced the release of Wayword Manor (insert hysterical girly screaming here). The title will be available on Mac, Windows, and tablets later this year.

Accompanying the announcement was spooky artwork fitting of the game’s lighthearted style.

Gaiman’s creepy goulash of characters are haunted by, what else, a ghost; and the premise of the game is set. As players haunt the inhabitants of Wayward Manor there is some mystery regarding how the protagonist in the story died. The only clue Gaiman reveals is, “It’s safe to say you were killed in the 1880s and you were killed for a reason.”

Merchandise is available for those of you unable to contain your enthusiasm before the release, including a dinner with Neil himself in Los Angeles! Now to find my pocket book… I’m sure I have a few grand lying around to purchase that dinner with Neil. Ha!

Presale orders and merchandise are available here.
